March Cocktail of the Month:
Crouching Tiger
(It’s the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese lunar calendar.)

Infuse a bottle of Ketel One Vodka with 10 whole star anise. Strain after 48 hours and save the star anise for a very pretty garnish.
1 1/2 oz infused vodka
1/2 oz grand marnier
2 oz mandarin puree or fresh squeezed mandarin juice
Combine all in a shaker with ice. Shake well and serve up in a martini glass with a sugared rim. Garnish with the whole star anise.

Grilled Asparagus and Roasted Beet Salad with Walnut Vinaigrette

Petrale Sole Filet with Snow Peas, Red Wheat Berries and Toasted Hazelnut Butter
This is the best of the best Pacific soles.
(OK. It’s actually a flounder, but it tastes divine and is Nora’s new favorite.)
